The Face Casting Kit contains two packets of our FaceGEL alginate so in case something doesn't go quite right the first time, you have a second shot at it. Once you master the technique, FaceGEL is available to you in several different package sizes.

FaceGEL alginate has a setting time of approximately 5 minutes when using 90°F water. It contains an extra thickener, not found in other alginates, that make it go "on" more like cake frosting rather than like pancake batter. Less of the alginate is wasted as it drips off the face and less time is spent trying to chase it as it does. The result is an easier procedure that uses much less alginate than our competitors recommend. It takes just 4 ounces of FaceGEL to do a normal sized face, so you can do 4 with just one pound.
