Below is a sample of The Face Cast Procedure (click images to enlarge)

Start at the top of the face and circle down and around. Make sure to only cover half of the plaster bandage frame.	Notice in this picture the alginate is only halfway across the frame. Clean up drips that will form below the chin.	Continue to circle around

Always gently smooth down the plaster bandages	Once finished place wet paper towels over the alginate to help reduce shrinking while you help the person clean up.	If possible it is better to do this in two or three pours. Start with a small amount to spread thinly over the alginate.
